What We Believe We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the foundation of all we teach (2 Timothy 3:16). We believe in God the Father, the Holy Spirit who is our advocate and our help in weakness (John 14:26 and Romans 8:26), and his Son Jesus who is God in the flesh and was sent to save a hopeless world through his death and resurrection. In doing this, He paid for the sins of those who believe, giving us a great hope of eternal life. (1 Peter 1:3-5) We hold fast to the knowledge that our salvation is not due to our good works but by the grace of God, yet we know that we are to pursue good works as an act of obedience to Christ (Ephesians 2:8-10). We believe we are in a spiritual war which Christ will ultimately win, but we are to be engaged and prepared for the battlefield while we are still in the midst of it (2 Corinthians 10:4-5 and 1 Peter 5:8-9). We believe in building one another up in the faith and encouraging one another in our walk (Hebrews 10:24-25). While we are a group of Christ-following families with diverse backgrounds, churches, and talents, we believe God has called us to be unified as one body in Christ (2 Corinthians 13:11 and Roman 12:4-5). Our mission is to live out the Great Commission wherever the Lord leads and to play an active role in the life-giving work God is doing in the world today- starting with our own children (Matthew 28:16-20).
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
John 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

1 Peter 1:3-5 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
Ephesians 2:8-10 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
1 Peter 5:8-9 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching
2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
Romans 12:4-5 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
Matthew 28:16-20 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
